I had a blast shooting for Liquid Gold; a new tap room and bottle shop opening in the Nob Hill neighbourhood of San Francisco. I had been in touch with Tim and Natalie, the owners of Liquid Gold, for about 6 months. They worked their asses off on this sweet spot and had been waiting patiently (sort of) for ABC to get their act together and finally give them their license. I spent a Saturday afternoon with them talking about how Liquid Gold came about, drinking beers and taking loads of photos. They have 30 taps of mostly local craft beer, that you can drink, while sitting at a very long bar and a huge cooler filled with a variety of bottles and cans, of some serious great craft, for take out purchases. I was pretty impressed with their selection, considering they're brand new and have yet to establish their name, on the local scene. Liquid Gold is located in Nob Hill, at a location that used to be an old book store. The bar has massive overhead sky lights, which made for great natural lighting to shoot in.
